Stay In Our Mill
Set on the banks of the River Isle, Ashford Mills will simply take your breath away. Find tranquillity or adventure in this five-acre working small-holding: wander the gardens among the chickens and sheep, live sustainably on our fresh eggs and homegrown veg or canoe, and wild swim in the River Isle. National Trusts properties and cider mills are a stone’s throw.
The historic mill sleeps x8 with four double bedroom areas.
Our guests range from couples seeking a romantic getaway right up to large groups of friends and family looking to share time in a convivial environment.
The internal layout has been kept as it would have been in the 16th century so the floors levels are open and extremely spacious. There is central heating and a wood burning stove.
Ground Floor Level: A country kitchen fitted with all essentials including dishwasher, hob, microwave, oven, fridge, utensils. This floor also has a separate annex double bedroom with bath, sink and WC.
First Floor: The first floor has a double bed and Esse wood-burner fire. Main bathroom with WC, shower, sink
The Attic: We have two king-sized beds which can be transformed into a twins should you require.
Please also note: The first-floor ceiling is approx 5 ft 5 inches high while the attic has 2 beams that will require you to duck under. The stairs are fairly steep and regrettably are not accessible for persons with restricted mobility.
