Spring at Ashford Mills

Springtime at Ashford Mills brings the first of the warmer weather for our guests to enjoy. Flowers start to bloom, our animals lose their winter coats, lambs are born and chicks hatch.

The warmer weather allows our guests to make the most of our grounds, including relaxing in the gardens in our various huts, enjoying a barbeque and kayaking down the river.

In spring, we also start to plant our fruit and veg to harvest throughout the summer months, guests are more than welcome to get involved in this process with us.

Further afield, Spring begins a jam-packed local calendar full of events dedicated to local food, music, culture, art and much more.

If you have any questions about what you can do during your stay, feel free to get in touch and we’ll do our best to help!
