Winter at Ashford Mills

The crisp days of winter cover the grounds of Ashford Mills in a beautiful white frost, the days get shorter and guests can enjoy the longer nights tucked up by the cosy wood fire.

There are plenty of walks to explore with the frosty landscape and frozen pond providing a lovely backdrop.

Throughout winter guests will still be able to enjoy the surrounding towns but with less of the summer crowds. There are plenty of winter activities including Christmas markets and local artisan shops to finish your Christmas shopping.

Winter is in some ways a quieter time of year for us here at the Mill, we use this time to prepare for the following year in the kitchen garden and keep our animals warm and fed throughout the colder months.
